The dial, with its clean and classic design, features Arabic numerals only at 6 and 12 o’clock. It is the absence of the 3 and 9 numerals that led enthusiasts to lovingly nickname it “The Pirate.” At 9 o’clock, there is a small seconds counter, and at 3 o’clock, the “8 Giorni Brevettato” (“8 Days Patented”) mark highlights the watch’s extended power reserve. The 44mm stainless steel case, equipped with Panerai’s signature crown protection device, ensures water resistance up to 300 meters.
