The Omega Speedmaster Day-Date with reference 3520.50.00, also known as the “Mark 40,” is a distinctive variant of the iconic Speedmaster line, introduced in the 1990s. This model stands out for its full calendar function, displaying the day, date, and month, in addition to the traditional chronograph function. It is powered by the Omega caliber 1151, an automatic movement based on the Valjoux 7751, offering a power reserve of approximately 44 hours.

The stainless steel case has a diameter of 39 mm, slightly more compact than the traditional 42 mm Speedmaster Professional, making it suitable for medium-sized wrists. The black dial features three sub-dials: one for the minute chronograph, one for the hours, and one combined for seconds and the 24-hour indicator. Additionally, the openings at 12 o’clock show the day of the week and the month, while a central hand indicates the date.

Case, Bracelet, Dial & Glass

The case shows light signs of wear, barely visible to the naked eye. The bezel with tachymeter is also in excellent condition, with minimal signs of use, barely noticeable.

The Omega bracelet, reference 1562 with 850 end links, consisting of 20 links, is also in excellent condition, with very minimal signs of wear. The bracelet fits wrists up to approximately 21.5 cm in circumference and shows virtually no stretching.

The black dial is in excellent condition, with numbers and indices perfectly readable and well contrasted.

The sapphire crystal is in excellent condition, maintaining a clean and transparent appearance. Only under specific lighting conditions, slight traces may be seen in the internal anti-reflective coating, a natural deterioration of the coating that does not affect visibility.
