The Submariner is a legendary name in the watch community, with its distinctive appearance and immediately recognizable name. It’s no surprise that it serves as a benchmark for most Rolex enthusiasts. But what if you want something a little more special? A watch that few people own but bears the name Submariner? The Tudor Submariner 7016/0 is the watch choice for someone who wants to combine prestige with rarity. The case, crown, and bracelet are all made by Rolex, while the dial and movement are Tudor and ETA. The watch for sale, with serial number 740xxxx, was produced in 1970 and is completely contemporary with the year of production (a rarity). It features a Rolex Twinlock winding crown, Rolex case back, MK3 bezel insert, and a complete Rolex folded-link bracelet with reference 7836, end links 282, and clasp code 3-70. The highlight of this “gem” is the “Rosellina” dial, showcasing beautifully aged cream-colored indices, as well as hour, minute, and second hands (lollipop style, not snowflake). The watch movement has been completely overhauled at our service center and comes with a 2-year warranty.

Very good case with light visible wear. The MK3 bezel insert is in good condition with light visible wear and without “Pearl” to 12 hour.
Very good Rolex stainless steel folded link Oyster bracelet reference 7836 with 13 links, 282 end link and a 3-70 date stamp. The bracelet have a moderate stretch and light wear for use and fits a maximum wrist of ca. 20,5 cm.
Excellent and very rare “Small Rose” matte black Tritium dial with warm creamy markers and matching hands. The second hands is a “lollipop” type.
Excellent original convex plexiglass.
