Info
Chronomat is Breitling’s flagship watch line and was the first to introduce the in-house B01 movement. Contrary to general belief, it is not the Navitimer but the Chronomat that stands as Breitling’s most popular model and the most chosen in the market. The watch offers the greatest number of color combinations, materials, and dial features compared to any other watch in the Breitling lineup. The Chronomat with reference 13.047 was produced by Breitling from 1990 to 1993, serving as an upgrade to the Chronomat with reference 81.950 produced by Breitling throughout the 1980s. Depending on the case material, the serial production had a prefix before the reference numbers: A13047 for a stainless steel case, B13047 for a two-tone case, and K13047 for the 18-carat gold version. The watch for sale, bearing the “C” prefix, is a limited edition of the reference 13047. Among the main differences from the standard Chronomat with a two-tone case are the gold rotating bezel with steel “riders” and the sunburst silver dial with counters matching the bezel. The ensemble is complemented by a beautiful Breitling Pilot steel and gold bracelet. The watch for sale has recently undergone servicing at an authorized Breitling service center and comes with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase from the same Breitling service center.
