Info

The Omega Seamaster 300M, introduced in 1993, marked a significant chapter in the history of watchmaking, becoming a symbol of precision and style. Its fame reached new heights when, in 1995, it was chosen as the official watch for James Bond in the franchise films. In particular, the Seamaster ref. 2541.80, the quartz version, was worn by Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye. This model cemented the connection between Omega and the character of James Bond, a bond that continued in subsequent films.

The Seamaster 300M has evolved over the years, combining sporty aesthetics with underwater functionality, boasting a water resistance of up to 300 meters. This, along with its elegant design and the robustness of its quartz movement, makes it a perfect timepiece for those seeking an accessory that can be easily paired with both casual and formal outfits. The watch we offer for sale is the quartz version (ref. 2541.80), a piece that still retains its enduring charm.

The design of the Omega Seamaster 300M (ref. 2541.80) is a perfect example of how Omega has combined functionality and style in a single timepiece. The 41mm stainless steel case is robust yet surprisingly elegant, with lines that reflect impeccable craftsmanship. The distinctive profile of the case, with its fluid design, ensures optimal comfort on the wrist, making it ideal for daily wear and more formal occasions.

The blue dial, iconic of this series, features a wave pattern that evokes the ocean, directly referencing its nature as a dive watch. The indices and hands, finished with a delicate layer of Super-LumiNova, ensure excellent readability even in low light conditions, making the Seamaster perfect for diving or outdoor activities. The unidirectional rotating bezel, with a graduated scale, adds essential functionality for calculating dive times.

Another notable detail is the stainless steel case back, featuring the famous trident logo, the symbol of the Seamaster collection, representing resilience and reliability. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, maintaining its clarity and brilliance over time.

The quartz version (ref. 2541.80) we offer is also thinner compared to the automatic versions of the series, making it a perfect choice for those seeking a timepiece with compact dimensions but still with a strong visual impact.

Case, Bracelet, Dial & Glass

The 41mm stainless steel case of the Seamaster 2541.80 is in excellent condition, showing very minimal signs of wear and a gleaming finish thanks to professional polishing carried out during the revision. The design of the case, while maintaining the robustness typical of a dive watch, stands out for its elegance and refinement. The steel bezel, with its iconic blue color, is also in excellent condition, with only slight signs of wear that are not immediately noticeable. These small imperfections only enhance the vintage charm of the piece, which remains as relevant today as it was when first released.

The Omega bracelet, reference 1503 with 825 end links, made up of 11 full links and 4 half links, is in excellent condition, showing minimal or no visible wear. Each link has been carefully polished during the revision, restoring its original brilliance. The bracelet fits comfortably on wrists up to approximately 21.5 cm in circumference and shows virtually no stretch, maintaining its solid and comfortable structure.

The blue “wave” dial, an icon of the Seamaster 300M, is in excellent condition and appears perfectly luminous, thanks to the impeccable maintenance of the hands and indices. The wave pattern, which evokes the ocean’s waves, adds depth to the dial, while the contrast of the hands ensures excellent legibility, even in low light conditions.

The sapphire crystal, scratch-resistant and durable, is in perfect condition, without any signs of damage. Its flawless transparency allows you to admire the dial in all its beauty, keeping the same clarity it had when originally manufactured.
