The Omega Speedmaster is recognized by enthusiasts around the world as “The Moon Watch”.One of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces. For the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Omega presented five different models of Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, each in a limited edition to 2020 specimens for the Japanese market only. The total of five variants reference the five rings of the Olympic logo with the colors of their bezels and other highlights. Three of the five new Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional “Tokyo 2020” watches are all steel, and two are “two-tone” with 18k yellow gold or 18k Sedna (Omega’s own secret recipe for rose gold) The model for sale, with reference 52220423006001, refers to the latter configuration (steel and rose gold) is and perhaps the one most appreciated among the five presented. In common with the other models it has a steel bracelet, sapphire crystal, and a specially designed case back for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
