The OMEGA Seamaster needs no introduction. With its large indexes and sword-shaped hour and minute hands, it has become a global icon among water sports enthusiasts. Despite its “marine” and “diving” inclination, this “sports” watch is perfect for all “adventures,” whether among the waves or in an office. The Seamaster 300 with reference 23330412101001 is a modern reissue of the popular Seamaster 300 launched by Omega in 1957. While at first glance the watches may appear quite similar, much has changed compared to the original 1957 model, as expected. The case size has increased from 39 mm to 41 mm, which is perfect for a diving watch. The bezel is no longer made of fragile acrylic but Omega’s LiquidMetal, an amorphous metal alloy with extreme resistance to corrosion and wear, yet its shiny appearance closely mimics the old acrylic. The dial is matte black and, in line with the vintage piece it pays homage to, does not have a date. The Super-LumiNova indexes on the dial are not painted on like the old CK2915 it is inspired by, but are set in an underlying layer (sandwich), which adds more depth and further highlights the texture of the dial. The case back does not feature the classic Omega hippocampus engraving but instead has a large sapphire crystal display that allows you to admire the Omega 8400 co-axial caliber (anti-magnetic to over 15,000 Gauss) in all its beauty. This is one of the best automatic movements available today. The watch for sale comes with all its original accessories as shown in the last photo, and it is in near-mint condition (refer to the description and photos in the ad for exact condition details).
