The Tudor Ranger 79950 was launched in 2022 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the British expedition to northern Greenland, in which, in 1952, Tudor Oyster Prince watches were included. The new Tudor Ranger 79950 is a sturdy, comfortable, and well-made watch, powered by an in-house movement (MT5402 certified COSC) housed in a 39mm case, an ideal timeless size for vintage Tudor watches. The matte black dial, with a granular texture and slightly domed shape, features hour markers painted with “Super-LumiNova.” The reduced thickness makes the watch super thin on the wrist and allows it to be worn even with an elegant suit as it easily slips under the cuff; at the same time, it has the sportiness required for daily and more casual wear. The watch for sale, sold by an official Tudor dealer in July 2022, has never been worn, is complete with all its original accessories, and has the official Tudor warranty valid worldwide until July 2027.
