The Maurice Lacroix AIKON is a popular watch collection that has gained recognition for its distinctive design and quality craftsmanship. The AIKON collection was first introduced by Maurice Lacroix in 2016, building upon the brand’s iconic Calypso collection from the 1990s. The AIKON was launched as a modern and reimagined version of the Calypso, combining contemporary aesthetics with Swiss watchmaking expertise. The AIKON collection is characterized by its robust and sporty design, featuring a six-arm bezel and a combination of brushed and polished surfaces. One of the key highlights of the AIKON collection is its versatility, but the Turquoise dial is most definitely the star of this watch. The incredible Clous de Paris pattern which dominates most of the dial’s surface is quite a thing to behold. The tiny little pyramids beautifully play with light, giving the dial different shades, depending on viewing angle and lighting conditions. The watch for sale, in a limited edition of 888 pieces, was sold by an official dealer in August 2023. It comes complete with all its original accessories, including the additional turquoise rubber strap!
