The Omega Speedmaster Day-Date reference 3211.31.00 compared to the classic 42 mm Speedmaster Professional with manual winding, it is a bit smaller, 40 mm case without crown, but the most visually important differences compared to a normal Moonwatch are its dial ( Panda) ,with the vertical chronograph configuration, date window at the three o’clock position, red accents and the use of trapezoidal shapes for the applied hour markers. Powered by the Omega 1164 caliber, the Speedmaster Date is an attractive alternative for those looking for a “reduced” with its own “personality” that sets it apart from the Speedmaster professional at first glance.
