Introduced in 2018, the Longines Skin Diver reference L2.822.4.56.9 is a vintage reissue of the legendary Skin Diver, Longines’ first dive watch launched in 1959. Concerning the overall design of the watch, this new Skin Diver is nearly identical to the original from 1958; however, some minor details and technological innovations differentiate it from its vintage predecessor. The most significant changes include a larger case (42mm), increased water resistance (300 meters), and, notably, an entirely new movement (L888.2 based on ETA A31.L01). Overall, the Longines Heritage Skin Diver is a contemporary and handsome dive watch with ample water resistance, bringing back to life an important design from the Longines archives. The watch for sale has never been worn, it may show only small light signs of wear, invisible to the naked eye, due to handling and aging.
