The iconic Monaco, which celebrated its 50th birthday in 2019, it was enriched in 2020 with new models with the Heuer 02 manufacture caliber. The classic 39mm “square” case is offered with a black and blue dial, both with Contrasting white sub-dials with Super-Luminova hands and hour markers. The most obvious novelty of these dials is that the models are equipped with the Tri-Compax chronograph function. The “additional” small seconds counter is positioned at 6 o’clock, but for this counter a different color is not applied to the background, thus preserving the classic Bi-Compax look that has accompanied the Monaco since 1969; the year in which the HEUER Monaco, not yet TAG Heuer, was making its debut on the scene as the first automatic chronograph movement ever to go on sale in the history of watchmaking.
